Empowering Change Scholarship 2023

Empowering Change Scholarship is a partially-funded scholarship for international Master’s students. This scholarship provides a total amount of £10,000 to each student covering their tuition fees and living expenses.

Empowering Change Scholarship is offered by The Graduate Institute of International Development, Agriculture and Economics (GIIDAE) with an aim to provide a chance for international students to pursue their Master’s degrees at the University of Reading.

GIIDAE provides international students this opportunity to get their Master’s degree incorporating several global issues like the sustainability of agro-ecosystems; food production, security, and health; climate change, animal welfare, and behavior; poverty alleviation; consumer behavior and choice; social development, and international development. Eligibility Criteria

Below are the requirements to prove yourself eligible for the University of Reading Empowering Change Scholarship 2023

• English is the required language for applicants.
• Students from World Bank member developing countries are eligible for this scholarship.
• The students from these countries should be skilled enough to utilize their Master’s degree from the University of Reading to bring socio-economic change to their country.
• The applicants must apply to one of the mentioned Master’s programs to be considered.
• The students who acquire a special offer of a scholarship for the English language must show proficiency in the English language within a month. Otherwise, their scholarship will be canceled.

Application Procedure

If the applicants want their application to be considered, they should follow the below instructions.

• They must submit their application on the official website of the University of Reading.
• In this application, the applicant has to write a personal statement explaining their aims, ambitions, expectations from the University of Reading and their scholarship, and how they are eligible for this scholarship.
